- We are so appreciative of all the ways people help us. The most important way people can assist us is by donating money for operational costs and to enable us to provide our various services to the community.
Our Wishlist
- We always need a variety of items eg. sundries, fresh foods(meat / vegetables), stationeries, resource materials for the childcare centre( art & craft supplies / educational materials / games set / sports equipment / toys), computers & office equipment. Anything we don't have to pay for helps to reduce our costs.

VOLUNTEER
If you are somebody who:
- Has some time to spare and a desire to help in any way
- Passionate about making a difference with Children and our Community
These are some of the areas that we appreciate your assistance :
Childcare Centre
- Assistance with school work (from primary 1 to Form 3, all subjects, SK & SJK)
- Assistance with childminding the pre-schoolers(aged 3-5yrs) from morning till evening
- Working with weaker students on one-to-one basis
- Preparation of teaching resources
- Assistance with enrichment programs – music & creative arts, reading & storytelling, indoor & outdoor games & sports, character building & devotional programs
- Organise excursion trips, enriching & fun activities during school holidays. Also, donation to or preparation of food at the centre (main meals & snacks)
- General upkeep of books and toys libraries
OPaL
- Preparation/Provision of food supplies for mothers & children during retreats/picnics and support group gatherings
- Minding the children whilst the mothers are in the weekly/monthly support group meetings (usually during evenings)
- Fostering a single mother family; very much needed when the parent is ill or, simply to give the parent a break especially over the weekends
ACE
- Provision of transport for the elderly to attend the ACE Club meetings, or for medical visits (much needed for those without family members around)
- All kinds of assistance at the ACE Club – give talks on any relevant,useful topics; younger people to accompany the elderly during excursions/retreats; teach any skills to uplift them in a wholistic manner( eg. Games, excercises, creative arts & crafts,computer literacy ) ; food preparations, etc
Housekeeping & Maintenance (@ both centres, Kpg 8 & Peringgit Jaya)
- Assistance in maintaining cleanliness of all fixtures and surroundings(eg. Garden)
- General repairs
Administrative & fundraising assistance
- Assistance with various areas in the office – filing, database updating, wordprocessing & sending out of appeal emails/letters for fundraising or special events, especially pre-December and Chinese New Year festive periods. This could include telephone follow- up calls for events and update of database with new contact details.
- Website Management - update website with events & information when required. This would need to be someone with the appropriate skills
- Events & Planning - assist with event planning & co-ordination
- Hands-on-Helper - collection & delivery of donated items, general assistance, helping out or running social activities
