Meeting the Needs of The Elderly
AgapeCARE for the Elderly (ACE) is committed to enhancing the well-being of seniors through two key initiatives
1. ACE Club
A community service to promote active ageing whereby seniors meet once or twice weekly at different locations to connect, support and engage each other through meaningful activities, such as:
-
Music & Singing Lessons: Express creativity and build confidence through musical engagements.
-
Karaoke & Dance Workouts: Fun ways to stay active while fostering social connections.
-
Creative Handiwork & Language Classes: Opportunities for lifelong learning and skills development.
-
Wellness & Recreational Talks: Informative sessions promoting well-being and self-care.
-
Travels & Retreats: Leisure activities that encourage relaxation and community bonding.
2. ACE Link
An assistive care program providing compassionate support to seniors who are home-bound or living alone. Services include:
-
Home Visits: Offering companionship, emotional support, and wellness check-ins.
-
Transportation Assistance: Helping seniors attend medical appointments, social gatherings, and essential errands.
-
Hot Meals: Ensuring access to nutritious food for those who may struggle with meal preparations. These provide both nourishment and a sense of connection to the community
